冶通铸材设有铸造材料（型砂· 熔炼）测试中心、新型材料研发中心及铸造型砂性能实验室，是行业内少有的具备全面原辅材料、型砂检测能力的单位。山东省铸造协会理事单位、中国铸造协会青年企业家分会理事单位、齐鲁理工学院实践教学就业基地、济宁市专精特新中小企业，济宁市三星级现场管理企业等荣誉称号。多篇论文被中国铸造协会收录并获得优秀论文。于2018年通过了山东省发改委年产12万吨铸造材料的项目立项。
